Inspiration & Concept - I made the background using various marking tools and then added some dried acrylic paint shapes that I’d unintentionally made on my paint palette. They stuck on, dried acrylic to dried acrylic, without any glue. They looked to me like random bits and pieces floating through space.

Medium & Techniques -  Acrylics, vintage collage elements, water colour illustrations.

Visual Elements - Primary colours, combination of hand drawn and collage images, structured objects against chaotic background.

Process & Execution - I built on the space theme with a rocket ship and other random floating objects or ‘space junk’. I love that the colour palette is not typical ‘space’ colours.
