Inspiration & Concept - The piece was built around the photograph that was taken from a Frankie magazine of the 80s record ‘Eloise Laws’ and a hair curling kit that was used at the time. I loved the vibe and colours.

Medium & Techniques -  Collage on paper.

Visual Elements - Fussy cut botanicals and shells, tissue paper, patterned paper, photographic focal point. 

Process & Execution - I pre-selected all of the collage papers and cut objects to pick up the colours in the photographic image. I then assembled and stuck down. The tissue paper adds some transparency and the yellow flowers add some focal pops.
