Inspiration & Concept - I painted an acrylic background using fluoroes and silver, and loved the colours so decided to stick with the fluoroes and added black and white for some strong contrast.

Medium & Techniques -  Acrylic, gel pen and collage on paper.

Visual Elements - Garden, botanical motifs, hand lettering, mark making, fluorescent.

Process & Execution - I love how the sharp points of my triangular, star and zigzag marks worked next to the softer floral motifs. I used the collaged floral paper to frame the piece. I finished with some wording from a favourite poem ’Song of the Jasmine Fairy’.
