Inspiration & Concept - I started with a very specific colour palette, and chose a patterned paper to represent each colour. I wanted to create a collaged background that was both busy and cohesive.

Medium & Techniques -  Patterned paper collage, washi tape and oil pastel on paper.

Visual Elements - Intersecting lines, botanical patterns, Native American inspired motifs.

Process & Execution - Once the collaged background was done, I drew and stamped some larger and smaller larger elements on top. I was happy to leave most of these ‘hidden’, with the collage remaining the main focus of the piece. I finished with small scale wording ‘Feed your soul’ which complemented the outdoor, natural theme.
